Would you ever buy yor first car back?
Discussion
Mine as an Austin 1300; it probably went to the scrapyard after I sold it at an auction with rotting rear subframe mounts. If it were still alive it would proably be worth buying and keeping as I suspect its value would increase from now.
My second car was a Fiat 128 - very few of these are left since they had major tinworm issues. However I do wish I could drive one today, just to experience the car again. Not much chance of that though!

I would love to buy back my Mum's Mini that I learnt in. Not only for sentimental value but it is a car worth buying back and keeping. That is of course if it hasn't been scrapped as there was a bit of rust. H523 FVR if anyone knows how to tell if it's still on the road or sorned etc
Aside from the fact that it's now dead*, I wouldn't want my '85 Saab 900i 8v sedan back, as I spent too long driving wishing it was a T16S Combi Coupe. Was a great car all the same, despite not handling, performing, stopping or looking very well
'* Not by my hand though, but it finally checked out at 250k miles to become a parts donor for an '89 900i 16v

NO, it was a lancia Y10 that was so rusty when i stopped driving it that i cut it up and scrapped it so its probably part of a blender or something similar now
A guy in the York VW owners club recently bought the car his father owned when he was born and sold when it was 10 years old having tripped over it on E bay (a '72 1300 Beetle)...his wallet wishes he hadn't!

I wish I knew where my first car was, L919CPC, Nissan Micra 1.0L It's been registered on the DVLA as SORN for a couple of years.
The guy I sold it to did horrible things to it, such as hack the grill to fit spotlights in; add horrible rear lights and eyebrows.
I wish I had never seen that thread. Edit - Sob, just found it http://www.micra.org.uk/threads/ollys-pimped-out-k...
I think I would buy it back if I could, but only if it was cheap - at the end of the day it is only an old Micra that someone has hacked up!
I used to love the Cabriolet when I owned it, and my mum bought it off me to enjoy. I drove it a couple of times when it was still in her possession, but to be quite frank it was rubbish - couldn't live up to the memories I had had of it!

Not a hope!
2004 (54) Pug 206 1.1 Independance in black.
In the 18 months I had it it got thoroughly abused, was on it's third gearbox at 4 years old (both replaced on warranty) with another on its way out. It had an electrical gremlin whereby it would randomly cut out when driving (inc. on the motorway) and the last reason:
I was rear ended twice - once v. large HGV and then a Jeep Grand Cherokee, having everything rear of the back axle replaced/straightend twice!
