I'd have my 3rd, 1990 Rover Mini Cooper RSP, If I was sensible I would have kept it as a second car for Sundays

No. It was mostly rust and I thrashed it.

Somehow sold it for more than I paid for it after 4 years cool

I waved goodbye to my very first car as it was driven away... on the back of a truck on it's way to the scappy-in-the-sky... So, if I ever seen it come up for sale again, I would be more than a little suspicious!... And even then if I was considering buying it, I would know that something had gone very, very wrong with my life!!

I would love my 1968 Ermine white and lotus green striped Escort 1300gt but alas I don't think I could have it back for the £50 I paid for it in 1985 frown

I think I already have as a bean tin.

It was recycling itself when I had it, MK2 escort 1.3 2 door in hearing aid beige, needed a new boot floor, a wing and a new front panel due to the tin worm when I traded it in against a chevette.
Mind you I only paid £135 for it (beat him down from £150 lol)and got £200 as a trade in.

In a heartbeat, MK1 Capri that I grew up in, one of my earliest memories was going to get it aged about 4, mainly the excitement of a new car and partially the seller Alsation and its unhealthy interest in the young J4CKO, well, at least it wasnt a TV Personality. Anyway, my dad had it for about 14 years until aged 18 I won a competion to win a Golf GTI, he bought that and I got the Capri as my first car, I only had it a year, my head was turned by a 1600 LS with its fancy grey check seats, working heater, remote mirrors and general realtive sophistication, it was still around until 2008 according to the DVLA, but hasnt been taxed since then so may be dead, would love to know if OJA 375G still lives, mk1 1600 GT-XLR.

No, but I would make sure I took a lot of photos before I left, since for some unfathomable reason I never did before I wrote it off

Not. It was backfiring before it seized. Could not wash it as the dirt was holding together.

Did only cost £225.

I doubt it still exists but I'd love to have my Fiat 126, C941 PMV, back. It was slow and noisy but such immense fun. Every so often I promise myself that I'll buy another 126 but they don't seem to be cheap any more.

Yes and no, I see mine occasionally, its been messed about with a bit but not too much, could be tidied up but do I really need or want it, I'v moved on and up the ladder since I'd love it but it would be a whim. My parents sold a car they had had for many many years to a friend of the family, when he sold it they bought it back, we had it 2 years tops before selling again, it was too messed about with and never the same.
I'v seen a Mk2 Golf I had a couple of years ago for sale half trashed now, one year only colour, nice car, spares or repair for £300, very tempted to buy it back and do it up but again, I can't justify it really.

It's in the kitchen - we keep beer and food in it - it's still a better drive as a fridge than it was as my first car

I guess that's a no on both counts

My first car should have been a banana yellow mk3 (borrowed from Mum) but by the time I passed my test she moved onto a Mini Metro, so no.
However I would have my Capri back in a heartbeat smile

Hell no!

A green 206 that had previous crash damage, understeered like a pig and felt like it wanted me dead if I went over 60. It also liked to unlock itself on warm days, and ate brake master cylinders. No brakes isn't fun.

I was glad to see the back of it!

An ancient Ford 100E that I bought for two quid.....it was a rotten, rusty, bald-tired, brakeless,leaky-radiatored shambling pile of wreckage. It was a frightful car,but it ran and ran, and I made more money as a precentage that I ever made again when I sold it for a tenner after a year.
