Okay, something happened this morning which is pretty unusual for me - I saw a car an had no idea what it was. Was hoping someone on here might know?

It was a new car (looked about a year old tops) and was big, the size of a Phantom I would say. It was long, gold, and had small, round headlights on the tops of the from wings. The grill was a lemon-wedge. I think it may have had a foreign plate?

Anyone any ideas? It was in Worthing this morning.

It was not:
Any current Roller or Bentley. Not a Maybach or Mercedes or BMW, or Lexus or Infiniti.

Anyone help?

My God father in Malaysia has some sort of big Nissan thing that vaguely fits that description. Couldn't tell you what it was called though, could be one of them on a Grey but god knows why anyone would its pretty awful in its utter anonymity. (which is why he has one) Its about the same size as his LWB BMW 7 Series....A quick Google does not find it.....

No, but along those lines. The grill was quite small and was like a little lemon wedge, but the front wings were clearly defined like that Hongqi, and the projector headlamps sat on the to of them. I only got a glance as it went the other way.

I think I just found it! I think it was one of these:

A Lancia Limousine apparently. Anybody else seen one?!

ETA: A Lancia Thesis apparently, 2004! Looks very modern, doesn't it? The one I saw was gold.

Quite possibly, yes. Being a big Alfa fan, perhaps it was the Sergio Marchionne on his way round to see me?

Heretic: this was a limo version, and whilst looking weird, did also look kinda cool too. Had weird number plates on it - Diplomatic I'm guessing.

Looked a lot nicer than the pic you showed - extra length helping I'm guessing.

I imagine this is what a Ford Scorpio would look like after taking crystal meth for a couple of years.
