It's not just Bentley owners that get chauffeured around China, it's normal for much cheaper cars too, for example the A4 comes in lwb version for exactly that reason.
I have been to China a few times and I definitely would NOT like to drive over there!
My blood pressure would just go up and up and up and up and up...

I don't believe the figures of 95% or 99% of owners being chauferred. The only Flying Spur I regularly see is daily driven by a scrap dealer and I've seen Sir Alex Ferguson driving himself in a Spur on TV.

Well he's retired now, so Alex Ferguson could drive himself to China if he likes. Why shouldn't he, what have you got against it?

People remember in China the wealthy don't know how to drive.....actually 90% of the population don't know how to drive and with the dreadful congestion in their cities why bother. The country is so vast trains and planes take people distance, cars are used to move slowly through grim cities and slowly along motorways, ie Bladerunner!

So you can't afford one? That's a shame, I have 2 on order, one for each of poodles to use as a kennel.

So should PH leave out every new car review about your specific budget requirements in future then?

This just confirms what I heard from a guy with an S Class he said he loved his Merc but there was something special about being inside a Bentley which he didnt quite put a finger on, still has his S though.
