Looks great apart from the Redbull branding on it.
Yes, too many bloody stickers.

Here are a few more 'specials' Renault have already had a thought about:

Here's hoping they are going to make a .R version like the old R26 at some point soon!

Not keen on this edition, particularly the Red Bull graphics but also the silver highlighting and alloys.

Eww why would I want an RB logo on my car?

Does it come with a finger to wave at people too?

Dont worry, if you miss this one, I'm sure there will be another one along soon.

A Megane 265R?.... right, electric cars and a box of stickers are the new future.

Has anybody else noticed that you don't see many of these good-looking, well priced, RS Meganes on the road?

I think it looks great. The paint looks fantastic and it will be nice to have something a bit different to the rest of the range smile

Love the paint colour on this car, and still one of the best Hot Hatches out there.

Hopefully the stickers aren't under clear coat so they can be removed....

The colour is nice but the wheels are a bit gash, the 18s are a much nicer design imo.

Looks pretty neat!! Red Bull Racing or should I say Vettel fans should be happy to stick one in their drive I should guess!

Im a bit confused.... The official team is Team Lotus Renault, the black and gold car right? Redbull Racing uses a Renault engine but has little else to do with Renault, so why isn't this car black and gold? That's the equivalent of the 90s Clio Williams being named the Clio Benetton, oh yeah and that should be Raikonnen in that photo too!

I like that. If I were in the market for a Mégane 265, I'd pay the extra (as long as it's not outrageous, which I doubt it will be!) over the standard car.

I wonder if people find them less practical than the alternatives? There isn't much room in the rear seats (not an issue for me. I think people are generally still a bit weary of Renault reliability. I have to say though, read the Megane forums and reliability of these and the R26 that came before are pretty good.

The older R26s and 225s have a few well documented issues, but generally are pretty solid.

I'm not one for brand loyalty (I've owned 4 cars, all different manufacturers) but I'd happily buy another one.

I like the fact that I don't see them everywhere though. I see Focus RS's and ST's every day, but rarely do I spot an RS250.

And here is me thinking that the Red Bull F1 car had an infiniti engine in it... wink

I think it may be because they are actually a bit nasty! I really wanted to enjoy my test drive, but.. frown

Each to their own smile

I find Imprezas a bit nasty, even though my dad's owned 5 of them I still cant get over why he keeps buying them. But he obviously has different criteria to me so who am I to question him? That's why we have different manufacturers!

But, I honestly think that's why you don't see many on the road! It's better looking than a Scirocco, it's as practical and it's cheaper, but you see Sciroccos everywhere!

And, you're right, I would never have bought an earlier Imprezza, but they have grown up now!smile

Ah, but Ive only ever seen one Scirocco R - which is the real rival for the 250/265. I see the normal ones everywhere. I think it's the price that puts people off the R!

Oddly, I preferred the early Imprezas! I wasn't impressed with the 330S hatch he's had for the last 4 years, but I do think his latest STI (4 door) looks a lot nicer. There's a lot of chocolate box plastic on the inside though! Especially for a 30k car!

I'm not sure I get what the problem is.

Minimal outlay to produce a variant that generates column inches, putting a mid-life model into the public consciousness again, therefore generating sales. Fairly basic marketing really, and it clearly works because they're always cropping up. Unless you want the brand/car to fail, why would that bother you?

The irony is, when they do throw money at a properly developed variant, such as the R26R, they can't shift them.
All very true^^^

Like the colour although the rear end looks a little busy now we've got stickers and the grey highlights
