There are just not enough rofl smilies in the world to cover this.

I wonder if it comes with a gentlemans ball scratcher and pipe in the glove compartment...

Kind of like the Impreza Spec D idea, still compared to some of the oddness that comes out of japan, this is quite tame, Gentleman as a word to me just hast negative connotations,

Gentlemans Club

Can Audi please now launch a 'Pillock Edition' of the A4?
I thought you get that by default with 2.0 TDI engine.

But is the "Gentleman" a "Man in Dandism" like my old MR2 Turbo was?
Best special edition name ever? Must be.

I fail to understand why people hate the A4 so much. Yes a lot of #&*() people drive Audis, but statistically, as I have proven, anecdotally, there are more of them in BMWs.

Really? Is that really one of the top three Japanese car industry special editions that you can come up with? Surely something like the Mazda Bongo Friendee is a far better opportunity missed!

Because it seems to be the car most likely to be found inches off your back bumper, flashing its headlights aggressively as you make progress, already going fairly quickly, in the outside lane. It just is.

Also, they're perfectly competant but absolutely nothing special in standard form, but the way people bang on about them you'd think they had some kind of Bentley-Lamborghini cross-breed.

Mazda Bongo Friendee Auto Free Top, to give its full name!

It's like everyone at Bletchley Park got trollied one night and put the wrong rotors in their Enigma machine, isn't it?

Isn't it because it's the new "Look at me, I'm successful" car, driven by people who think they are better than everyone else.

L'édition de gentleman.

Nope, still wouldn't have that written on my car! Interior is gorgeous though, can you get that on the normal version?

Best ridiculous Nissan name since the 'Fairlady'.

Not quite up there with the Mitsubishi 'Starrion' though.

I see the A3 as a worse offender for that. I've driven a few now, and the standard-spec cars are merely Golfs covered in detail changes in a desperate attempt to convince you you've bought something special, while the S-Lines are genuinely crude, offensively ill-refined cars.

OK, so I've never driven an RS3, but you don't see many anyway, but when I see an A3 I just reckon the person who bought it probably didn't bother test-driving anything else, and is completely oblivious to the fact that they could have saved money, bought a Golf, and not noticed the difference. They're monumentally shallow cars.

I think the Psy-style gentleman is the type who would buy the GT-R Gentleman Edition. hehe I think a Hooligan Edition would have been more appropriate. wink
