109,000 miles, smooth 'Murican 3.3 V6 and comfy leather armchairs? Can't go much worse for £550... and very practical once you chuck out the back seats!

If you don't mind me asking roughly how much did you pay for your Alphard? And what year?
They are far more bulletproof and a much safer bet than the Voyager very well equipped too. I browse tradecarview sometimes and it's these damn things that keep coming up!
The Voyager is being discontinued this year in favour of the new Pacifica, which is only sold in USA.

Looks to have good ownership history/service history and MOT history seems to show minor stuff. It might be due a timing belt kit. They even provide their company number so you can look them up on companies house. Been trading for one year.
From reading up it appears the 1.7 Nikasil lining causes excessive oil usage. I'm wondering if that's why a long term owner would get rid of the car all of a sudden? Bring a magnet for those arches just to check but no mention of it on any advisories. I'm tempted to have a nosy if I can swing by after work.

I bought this for £466 in August
I was after a car with a towbar that I could get hold of within a day or two. Saw this on ebay, it was local, P/X to clear from a citroen dealer. When I spotted it, it was on £465 so I just stuck a bid on for £466 and forgot about it. Later that day my phone made that familiar ebay sound and I had won it.
It's a 53 plate Seat Toledo 1.9TDi. 159,000 miles (doesnt bother me in the slightest) It's got pretty much everything you could want fitted, Cruise control, Climate control (ice cold), Traction control, Electric windows all round, Electric mirrors, rear sun blind, 6CD changer and CD player, 6 speaker stereo, Full OBC, front fog lights etc. It's also got FSH and was serviced 2,000 miles before I got it, recent cambelt as well.
I have to say it's brilliant. It only had 2 months MOT remaining when I got it, but I chucked it in for one last week and it flew straight through. The only money I have spent on it is £50 for the MOT and diesel money. It's comfy, returns 60mpg on cruise control on the way to work, practical, decent stereo, what more can you want from a cheap hack? It also manages to pull my boat OK, although I will be selling it on in the spring to get a 4x4 for those duties.

If one could chip 30 or 40 quid off this old banger it would probably provide 3 or 4 years good service with little required apart from irregular oil changes..
