Well according to you BL made the best cars on the road and it's only because everyone decided that they wanted inferior foreign products that they ended up going to the wall...

Every year since I've owned the house I have said I will replace the roof on the garage but keep putting it off smile
Is your Audi covered in goose fat so it's easier to insert it somewhere?

It only gets used these days during the winter months and the garage leaks so before I put it away during the summer I just leave a coat of wax on the car for a bit of protection.

Really I should sell the old girl but its worth bugger all these days being 18 years old so I guess it's only worth about £350 but its only done 60000 miles and its in fantastic condition and has never missed a beat in the 3 years ive owned it and being an old Audi you never have to worry about the rust bug the old girl still drives and looks like new once the wax comes off.

Some more BL related lols.

"You will also notice that the plastic foot mat is on the left side of the car,
I've confirmed that this because the car was originally intended to be left hand drive
for the European market but it didn't happen and the car was built as a UK spec right hand drive."

Just brilliant (if legit and hasn't had a new carpet fitted).

Looks like Dale Wintons dream interior biggrin

The centre console looks 'handed' from the picture as well, would back up the theory?! I am betting that some old bearded type would actually pay over the odds for something like that.

'Fraid not. They actually designed the console / dash so that the radio faced away from the driver. Maybe a hangover from Issigonis' dislike of car radios and refusal to make space for one in the Mini - trust BL to try and tell the customer what they should have, rather than actually listening.

But then it's an Ital. A really poor car. I've owned and worked on enough BL rubbish over the years to detest them as much as the next person, but even as a kid when they were new the Ital seemed to me to be desperate warmed over rubbish.

You must be joking.
