Same old same old frown

We need a mad Saudi to buy it off HIM and plough some dosh into it. That way Oil rich countries may be interested in it and help it get off the ground and survive.

I was actually just thinking that and almost edited my post. But now you've quoted it and commented, I'll leave it as is and agree. yes

Back to British shores and in the right hands from the sounds of it. Three TVR companies registered at companies house, all part of Mr. Edgar's empire.

But which TVR would be the Zombie Mum? the VIT Vienna TVR, or the Mr Les Edgar one?

According to the TVR comeback story on Auto Express (for my news colleagues have spoken to Mr Edgar), Dieter Probst's new car thing is being officially played down...
...although Edgar was quick to play down a story posted on a rival website suggesting a new model with “totally new styling” that was “half the price of a Ferrari and probably as fast” is on the way.

I just want TVR to die.

The Russian has ruined it so comprehensively at this stage that if anything the TVR band is buggered in my view.

Best to start fresh if you have the inclination/cash and do something without the tainted image and recent history TVR now has.

I'd say bks to that. TVR has always been some sort of counter-culture, anti-establishment brand. The rumours and innuendo surrounding it, the fact that relatively few people outside the UK have actually seen one on the road but many more know about TVR, the whole Top Gear-induced aura of them being mad, bad and dangerous to know only adds to its core appeal. smile The more sanitised the rest of the motoring world becomes, the more equity and relevance the TVR name carries.

Whoever this man is, so far I like the cut of his jib thumbup

Why do PH always pander to this deluded schoolboy? This must be the 5th or 6th time the imminent revival of TVR has been announced here. PH is running out of credibility.
