Skateboard to the Sill

I was outside this morning showing the car some cleaning love when a teenage skateboard dude coming down the hill lost it, hit the deck and projected the board straight into next door's 13 reg Citroen C1 leaving a nasty egg sized dent in the sill.
After sniggering into the sponge for a bit, cursing that I didn't have a video camera going, I went over and asked if he was okay as he was was getting up, dusting himself off and pulling his trouser back down. I pointed out the the board sounded like it had hit the car and he said yes but there was no damage and started to walk off. I told him to hang on and suggested he might want to go and knock on the door and let the owner know what had happened. It was a company car so I knew she wouldn't be that fussed and anyway, he was a ginger.
He duly knocked her up and she came out, in her flimsy dressing gown - thank you
- and checked it over and told the lad not to worry about it and thanked him for being honest before sending him on his way, giving me a friendly wave on the way back in.
Result for all. Well, apart from her boss anyway.

In all seriousness fair play to him. I remember a few years ago, late teens piloting a friends RC Car round a local car park I lost control and slid side on into the side skirt of a rather nice Impreza, waited around for ages for the driver to return so I could profess my guilt although I could see no damage.
