Short term motorcycle insurance

Hi,
I am looking to do my motorcycle test this year and wanted to gain a bit of experience before i did it. My brother has already bought a 125 but can't ride it until he is 17 at the end of October. I am doing my CBT on the 20th July so wanted to borrow his bike and insure it from then until the 27th October. I don't really want to change the ownership to be in my name as then it will add extra owners to the logbook. I have contacted Bennetts and ebikes, neither of which were able to help me as the bike is not in my name.
Anyone got any ideas or will i have to transfer ownership to myself to get insured?
