Given that it is a standard engine and in the bike it did about 35 mpg, I would guess about the same.
Really? It's a completely different vehicle.

It can't actually cut grass though, it's got 2 strimmer heads on electric motors underneath so the quality of cut will be useless and i should imagine getting more string out when its worn off will be a PITA

Well, its as good a guess as any. In aerodynamic terms it will be about the same. I suppose you may get more rolling resistance from 4 wheels rather than 2, but there may be less losses with a modern gearbox.

MPG??? FFS.....

Well done Honda. This reminds me of the geezer in the US who tried to visit his brother on his mower... He would get there pretty quick on this.

You would have a great excuse for driving over a roundabout, just trim the grass one side, then on the other on the way home.

539bhp/tonne?

Surely: 1000kg/140kg = 7.142

7.142 * 109bhp = 778.57bhp/tonne

Unless I'm confusing my tonnes/tons

Heard about this project a while ago, apparently it's been built for some Top Gear challenge/event.

Hmmm wonder what it would be like with a 1000cc CBRR motor in there? smile

Instant death, followed by chopping off the heads of those unfortunate enough to get in the way as it tumbles to destruction?

Not that far off, a corner of a workshop by a man with questionable personal hygiene who cuts his own hair and brushes his teeth with swarf.
