Oh and the reliability was amazing. I had a Mercedes 500E (supposedly over engineered) and several BMWs on the side whilst I had the S2000 and they all had issues but the S2000 was indestructable.
I normally pamper and cosset my cars but the S2000 was really used as if it was disposeable. I guess this was because I didn't love it as much as other cars but that level of reliability has its own charm.

really? I'm already thinking about moving on from my s2000 and am thinking a TVR is going to give me a BIG increase in buzz and thrills, on road and track. Are you really saying it's not that much more fun?
I went from an S2000 to a Chimaera. The Honda was great, but a Tiv is so much of an occasion very time you drive it. The S2000 sounds good approaching 9000rpm, but even starting the Chim feels like the World is caving in. The Tiv also allows you more latitude to drive like a yob in the dry at least; it's surprisingly benign to deliberately oversteer, like a big V8-powered Mk1 MX5 with heavier steering. I always found the S2000 to be a little more knife-edged in that respect. As an aside I find the TVR has a much more positive image than the Honda from the public. Everyone likes the TVR. Expect a lot of attention, it's not a car for shrinking violets. When I had the S2000 I got a few smartarse comments, overtake-strop-flashes and coffee beans, although I drove it no differently to any other car. Bizarre.
I'd consider an S2000 again if I couldn't have a TVR. The adrenaline-rush on VTEC, fantastically tactile and weighty gearchange, the 90s BTCC car induction noise. I also liked the 'arrowhead' looks from the front. I'm also the only person in the world that likes the interior.

As did you what? Post a valid response? No, you didn't, it was spiteful and pathetic, and your subsequent attempts to justify it were equally pathetic.
I'm amused by the fact that you posted elsewhere that you were too shy to say hello to a PH'er you recognised at a meet, yet you seem entirely happy to post snide comments like the one above.

Wouldn't you agree trawling through my old posts to find something to have a dig at me about is a touch spiteful and pathetic? Get a grip of yourself man, if that's all you have to occupy your time you really need to have a good look at yourself.

Cringeworthy. It's like you've shoe-horned that in just to show you know the number.
What would you call it? An old white 90's Civic Type R imported from Japan? No, just call it an EK9 like everyone else. 22rgt B Squadron said:

An S2000 wont get near a Z4M
I remember having a little play with a Z4M down a dual carridgeway.Almost had a big accident by plowing into the back of him his car was that slow accelerating.
Granted mine was tweaked.
The 0-60 of the S2000 may only be within a second of both 370 and z4m, but the 0-100 time is seconds out. S2000 is something like 16.9 to 100mph where's z4m and 370z are about 12 seconds to 100.
That is a MASSIVE difference.
On a any road remotely straight the z4m should literally walk away if both equal drivers are trying.

Two things:
A) That must've been quick
B) At £6,200 someone got an absolute bargain!!
In my experiance when the S2000 gets into its stride there is very little in it against an E46 M3 - the M3 is faster but not nearly as much as I thought it would be.
The problem with the S2000 is the power is not very accessable, so if you're in the wrong gear at the wrong time you will get shown up by most turbo cars or larger capacity engines.

I had 2 S2000s and a Z4M, the Z4M was in a completely different league in terms of performance. The problem with the S2000 is the power is not very accessable, so if you're in the wrong gear at the wrong time you will get shown up by most turbo cars or larger capacity engines.

sorry but this is balls. I've been out on track in my s2000 up against M3s twice recently and they make it look like a shopping trolley, and trust me I was in the right gear. And Z4Ms, as long as the driver can get it out of the corner right, will walk all over an s2000 too. We'll have someone saying they can give a GTR a run for it's money as long as VTEC kicks in Yo! next.
