Honestly, this sounds like Chequered Flag on my Zx Spectrum. The engine genuinely sounds like its come from a crap computer game.

I can believe how heavy this car is. For all aluminium and other bits its made out of it is one heavy bh!! IMO A car too far... I would much rather have an M3 every day of the week. The only reason to buy an M6 over an M3 is to try and say you have a bigger knob than everyone else..

Cripes, just watched the video... it does sound like a bad computer game haha!

Got to be the worst sounding M engine ever.

For someone who has a "1977 Trans Am 6.6 special edition in gold" in their car history a certain saying about stones and glass houses springs to mind.

Give it a proper V8 exhaust note, strip out all the electronic overlords and unnecessary gadgets, brace it then give it a proper gearbox then its worth the competition tag.

Because people buy cars for lots of reasons. The competition pack is obviously aimed at people who primarily want a GT car but who is also partial to a hoon from time to time.
Yep, and it's also aimed at people who want to win the bhp top trumps game. People who wouldn't really care about the suspension set up, just that it's got more power than a regular M6...

Isn't the M6 for people who want a GT car but also want a hoon now and again?

Now you don't get a hooning car with the *M*6? You need an M6 with a competition pack on top?

Since it sounds a bit naff and is probably too big for most hoony type roads anyway I'm not really sure I care at all.

I'm waiting for the spiritual successor to the Z4M Coupe/Roadster type cars really, or the new M2... both small cars with big power that can be hustled on your average UK road nicely I'd imagine biggrin
