Speaking to one of the parking attendants at my regular haunt and he told me of some poor bugger having his headlights nicked the night before.
Car was still there so had a walk to it to take a look.

Brand new Scirocco, left overnight and the owner only found out when his day shift mates came in asking him about the crash he's had. Company car, so he's not too upset, but feckin hell...

Makes me grateful for the toe rag who dismantled the door mirror on my 306, he only stole the glass!

Not so much as that - a couple of pairs went for £77 and £99 over the last week.

I'd have thought they were worth a lot more than that for the effort put in here.

Not if you remove it with a hammer.

That's my reaction, too.

What next? Someone likes your double glazing and comes along when you're at work?

How much are these at the stealers - gone are the days of the £40 escort headlight.

As the Porsche article linked above says, they're not being stolen just to flog on Ebay.

It suggests they're nicked to provide heat and light sources for cannabis farms - much more plausible.

Looks like they were after its factory xenon headlights. Shocking to destroy a car to achieve this,
probably even driving the same car.
Nobody noticed that someone pulled a car apart, must have taken some time?

I see many cars that have missing headlight washer caps, scrotes probably nicking it for the xenon look.

Holly mother of fk!

I've never heard of this before, does this happen in the UK to any other cars?
