Check your Amazon purchases. You may find many unauthorised purchases on there. These may include such things. Catnip, scratching post, small squeaky mouse toys, and some gourmet cat food. These things may have emptied your account.

Same here.

Was new card and so thought that was the reason. Not so sure now.

I had a new card last week to replace my old one that isnt due to expire until the end of August.

Left it at home and popped to my local Sainsburys. Card rejected twice. Went to cashpoint...rejected again.

Called Barclays. As Rhapsody [ Music service] had taken £5.00 from my new card, without my knowledge, the old one becomes automatically cancelled.

Could be that?

Bank couldnt find anything wrong with the card, no blocks on it and it reads ok as it gave me a printed balance from one of the cashpoints.

Think this highlights the need to keep a float in the house, it's caused a lot of hassle.

I have had this before where my card has been declined a couple of times and then gets accepted on the third try. No apparent indication of why it might have happened either.

I've put it down to just being one of those things. *shrug*

My RBS app means I can take cash out without a card, great bit of tech.
