FYI i was just showing the lights, that isn't my car. I have a 9n polo.

I would like BBS Wheels and coilovers.

But i would also like to have the Montreal 2 BBS VW (MK4 GTI) Wheels. As it looks nice and it also looks like a 9n polo GT TDI. But i'm not going to put the GT badge on the grill cause it will be silly.

It will look similar to this hopefully.

But if that doesn't pan out, it would be nice just to get BBS LM alloys like this

Sorry for digging up an old thread, i just thought it was pathetic that some of you decided to 'mock' me for having blue sidelights when it was completely irrelevant what i asked what you thought of them.

I love my car, i just want to have something unique and doesn't sound like st.

Also having a 1.2 isn't a bad thing. I always thought the motto was 'Low & Slow'? As long as it looks nice what is the problem here?
Que?

Youth of today... rolleyes

...takes all sorts I suppose, but I really don't get fitting performance parts to cars whilst simultaneously crippling their performance.

You remind me of Welshbeaf with more than your name alone. "they look good on my polo", and now it suddenly isn't your car?

Low and slow.. Might as well call it keeping up appearances.

I think the 'Low and Slow' thing is just a reaction to the insurance costs. Anyone young can't afford to insure anything remotely fast so the cool stuff changes.

Agree we didn't need 4+ pages telling 18 y/o his taste was bad, everyone's is at 18.

I read somewhere that you're allowed amber side-lamps as long as they don't exceed 5 Watts.

Which then raises the question about LED's... 5 Watts can go a long way in LED.

What you have explained is not unique.

A lowered VW with BBS alloys on it, and probably stretched tyres? Completely unique, never seen another VW like it, no sir. Why not paint the bonnet black, or maybe strip all the paint off and let it go rusty for a really personal touch? Then maybe add a roof rack loaded up with pointless st.

"low and slow" is a barbecuing technique. A slammed 1.2 polo is just "lowered and slow".
