WE 1

Saw that outside Westminster Abbey a few months back.
IIRC, the Mayor of Bormuff's car has/had "1 RU" or "RU 1", RU having been an original Bormuff area reg.?

16C - although on my app it's showing as a BMW.

I haven't seen many Reveres. I presume they are similar to an Overfinch?

Jesus-titty-fking-Christ! rolleyes

So sorry that my lame attempt at humour fell so wide of the mark. I shan't bother explaining it, as a joke is never that funny if it needs an explanation. Has it really come to this? That EVERY sarcastic or humourous comment MUST be followed immediately by some kind of explanatory smilie lest it face the wrath of the thread police?

Fcensoredk it...

I saw 918S a few weeks back at Goodwood. It was on 918 but the car was filthy and had stones and dirt in most of the aero.

I posted in here but here it is again:

I've been looking for a number plate and came across this the other day.

Car and plate belong to a PHer.

Great plate. Great combo,

Great plate. Great combo,
It is an amazing car and plate combo, didn't realise a PHer owned it. I heard a few people complaining about the stones and dirt. I totally got the point and how it looks but all I could think was if I ever had a supercar this is exactly how it would be.... DRIVEN!

And £66k for a number plate is insane. I was trying to justify £1500 and then come across that. haha

The price was crazy. I was hoping the bidding would stop at half that figure but I'd missed out on a couple of other 918 plates at previous auctions and was determined on this one because I wasn't sure I'd ever find a better one.

The car is very prone to picking up pebbles for some reason (aero?) but a visit to my detailer after the FOS soon fixed that. smile

I thought that too, could they all (918 S & TES1A) be Show Plates considering where they were seen?
BS 7 is on a Bentley, as this is a replica of Barry Sheene's racing Toyota it probably is just a show plate. 918 S does show as a Porsche 918 (as does 918 E), TES 1A does come up as a Tesla, though.
Cool - I'll happily stand corrected, especially considering the following 918S pics/post.

To the 918 owner, did you take your car to the dealer to just remove the stones or did they perform an aerodynamic trick to stop the debris being directed in?

It's an amazing combination. Congratulations on both!

I meant aero as in all the wings and holes and stuff where I assume air flows through.
