Mansory F12 La Revoluzione
More power, more carbon and a whole lot more cash for Mansory's F12-based creation
The F12 La Revoluzione, (you though LaFerrari was bad) is based on the F12 Berlinetta in the same way Lily Savage is based on Paul O'Grady; the level of chintz is almost unbelievable.
Clearly the standard F12 was lacking a bit in visual drama so Mansory have fitted some flash new rims (it's now rolling on 21s at the front and 22s behind) and a typically lairy bodykit. The front bumper now features an 'inverse F1 nose', there are some side skirts and redesigned rear bumper with the four pipes replaced by two that look like Dyson produced them. Mansory hasn't released any figures for the added downforce from that spoiler...
But it's the Revolution Red body that takes it. Every panel is carbon and baked in Mansory's own autoclave, natch.
Given the time this must have taken, it's a surprise Mansory had time to fettle the 6.3-litre V12. Now with two turbos, a new exhaust and an ECU remap, power is up to 1,200hp and torque to 656lb ft, from the standard car's 730hp and 509lb ft. Unsurprisingly given the La Revoluzione is still RWD, the extra power hasn't taken too much from the 0-62 sprint (down a couple of tenths to 2.9 seconds), but the top speed is now up to 230mph.
And the price for this carbon-clad turbocharged V12 abomination? Mansory will ask 1.3m euros (£1.09m) for each F12 La Revoluzione, a fair old chunk more than the standard car's £239,736. But it wouldn't have been built without sufficient demand presumably? Somebody must want one...
Random fixings, gaffer tape aplenty.... I'd also be inclined to look at the exhaust manifolds and see if there are actually any turbos there....
Still, would i buy this over the P1? Hahah - good one...

It would be nice if PH actually pulled a finger out and went to see their factory and maybe speak to Mr. Mansory himself, rather than use the brand as a source of ridicule and click bait.
But at least he should have just checked the dictionary: "Revoluzione" does not even exist in italian (or in any other langauage btw): it should be "Rivoluzione". Same horrific, but at least not so moronic.
I know these are petty things, and few customers speak Italian, but it drives me nuts that people release a new product to the press and don't even make the effort of spellchecking the product's name. the NAME for c***st sake, not the small text of the press release! THE NAME!
