If you don't care about being a couple of minutes behind, you can get rid of the choppiness/juddering by watching it a few minutes behind (just click on the bar at the bottom of the video a few minutes before present).

I mean how do you hustle your way past something worth £30m?
Sideways and with your elbows sticking out. biggrin
There were even more of them at the Spring Classic Weekend at Spa a couple of months ago .... parked in an underground car park area with a burly security guard in attendance.

I think my sweater was probably wet with all the drooling.

Extraordinary to get so many GTOs all together in one place!

Good luck Chris, we will be there on Sunday - and will raise an umbrella to you as you slide past (if the weather forecast is accurate..).

Best to just keep it on the island. Those Goodwood earth banks are lurking much nearer to the track than at modern circuits..

Take care and enjoy.

"as a Goodwood virgin"

surely this just refers to the track, not the whole event? That would be like Santa saying he'd never been to Harrod's Christmas Grotto...

The intermittent "freezing" isn't just you. It's universal.

I managed to watch a few hours of it without it even stuttering once ( down in NZ ).

And if you have an Apple TV and want to watch it on your big screen, the trick to playing it from your iPad is to mirror the screen, and then click the maximise screen arrows on the video window within the app on the iPad. It will play full screen, and get around the "ban" ( not sure if its banned in other countries ).

Everyone (UK based) I talked to had the issue - obviously solved by skipping back a few minutes. There's no problem with fullscreen here either.

Good stuff, brave driving - and welcome your views on the final sunday events will be good, some absolutely magic cars this year.
Enjoyed the GT 40 race, high speed grass cutters at time, very close to absolute lap record as well.

Bummer if the Lister is deemed unfit or can't be fixed in time.

Love the Lister, gorgeous looking car, I know I'll be in the minority but it looks so much better than the E types on the grid through these eyes.

Couldn't agree more. From the rear three-quarter view it's close to perfect...

Fingers crossed, and good luck to all involved.

Went today. Incredible. Were supposed to be going tomorrow but the weather looks dodgy for flying.

I'll definitely be watching this on Youtube, and the second part of the St Mary's cup. The first part was epic!

P.S. Good luck Chris!

A couple of good clips here that show what amazing car control these guys have starting with Kenny Brack in a Gt40 in the damp in practice

http://youtu.be/1jF__B1xpJY

And Derek Bell in a Corvette

http://youtu.be/pIHUV9bJBuM

Having driven Goodwood a few times in the damp watching this is just incredible what these chaps can do

Yeah, amazing seeing the triumph-engined Morgan vs the V12 Ferrari! The St Mary's Cup and the TT should be really good, when can I book for next year..?

Well done Chris, looking forward to reading the write-up.
