Surely this makes more sense in the V8 Bentley?

Is there any equivalent tuner for Jags at all? My dad desperately wants to upgrade his XJ SuperSport but there's nothing available other than getting pieces here, there and everywhere... If he could get something like an MTM package that would suit him to a tee!

P.S. Epic car, although Audis bore me.
I doubt 650 BHP with 4 x 4 in a Q-car package has ever been boring...

Yep, you're right - its pish!

I see the new Long term test one is over £100k!!! You would need your head examined to think the depreciation on that was ok!

Has your dad tried a Jag Dealer, there is a an ETO division, Engineer To Order, and they have just launched the XJR, sure they could retrofit most of the good bits with suitable incentive?

If your serious i may be able to find a suitable contact direct ;-)

Let's not make too much fuss about this or else everybody will cotton on to what excellent cars S8's are.

Can I have mine without the Bradford drug dealer alloys and tacky radiator please? If I have to have the tacky and tasteless pack, can I have high profile tyres with black steelies please? Gotta love bonkers MTM, but my choice would be an RS6 avant. This is not to say that S8s don't have a certain understated coolness that Audi are struggling to achieve with the rest of their cars.

Does 3.5 to 60 and an 11.8 quarter mile with no mods. This will be a monster!

Why would you want your Executive Super Saloon to be anything other than dull and boring? I know a chap who would buy this kind of car, at the moment he has a CL63, does he drive it for the performance/thrill factor? No, he has a Ferrari for that, he drives the CL because its comfortable, fully loaded and can eat up the miles in a non dramatic fashion. When travelling along a motorway, he then has the power to rival super cars should he wish too...
I'm like a poor version of your mate... S8 TDI for 35,000 miles a year comfort and a Tuscan for scaring the hell out my myself on the weekends.

I had the D2 S8 and loved it, I'd really like the V10 D3 or the newer v8 twin-tub version. This MTM upgrade is bonkers!

They really are lovely comfy cars.

That on its own is good enough reason to buy one!

S8 TDI? I was unaware such a thing existed! Sure you don't mean A8 TDI?

Haha whoops , typo! smile

The 4.2 diesel is fairly nippy though, certainly as fast as the old d2 s8!

I've only got the 3.0 though frown
