Would insurance cover the cost?

Would this be a write off due to dealer prices for parts?
Theft? Yes, I think insurers cover theft.

A write off? Of a 1 year old car due to having the bumper stolen?
No, I don't think so.

Seeing stuff like that picture make me feel sick. Somewhere there is some horrible fking toerag who thinks it's ok to make someone else pay for the fact that they've crashed their car.

There are some things about people that I simply cannot understand - vandalism, littering (why? just why?) and the inability of certain people to refrain from taking the property of others. I just don't get it. Depressing confused

In the early to mid 90s a gang in East London and probably elsewhere, were stealing the front bumpers from Renault 5 GT Turbos.
We came out one morn from our flat in Chingford, to find the front bumper gone and the grille and headlamps damaged. To take a front bumper from a 5 Turbo takes 2 people about 3 mins, so an easy steal.

You might want to take a closer look at the picture, is the bumper the only thing you can see that is missing?

What about the headlamps, the grill, the radiator, the slam panel, the crash bar amongst others?
