Basically matey boy who did this probably resents you having a nice car so he decides to damage it, a new spoiler has to be bought from Germany, shipped, sprayed, fitted and you get a bill, or rather your insurance company does, they pay out, probably what, £1500, your premium goes up etc etc, so that money has been wasted.

Any kind of wanton destruction, bus shelters, windows, burning a school down takes from society so there is less to go round, this genius has just cost himself money very indirectly, kind of low grade Karma, the real stuff we want is a cut on his hand that goes septic requiring amputation but that doesn't happen.

Feel for you OP. Had a little Fiesta once. Not much, but it was the first car I bought, and I loved it. Some twit ran over it when it was parked up and put a load of dents in it. Hopefully they'll get their comeuppance some day. fking pricks.

I prefer a more direct Karma, the cretin that I know, yet could not prove, damaged my car is currently detained at Her Majesty's pleasure for a bungled attempted robbery at knife point on a train last year.
