Wow. I fear for this country sometimes.

OP - if you do escape this without getting your collar felt for fraud (and you don't deserve to get away with it IMO)
IMO a little harsh on this but agree with the latter.

The OP will get screwed through the loss of his bike, no need to compound it because if he was to have been involved in a fault accident the insurance co. are still liable for third party damage, the loss of bike and future premium costs should see the OP a justified comeuppance IMO.

IMO a little harsh on this but agree with the latter.

No. NO NO NO.

The insurers would pay out for the third party claim, they would then try to claim it off our hero (who has no money) andfail to do so.

Then they would charge YOU AND ME MORE to cover it.

Absolutely true. Best you can hope for is you lose a £1600 bike. Worst is you are prosecuted for fraud and can never insure another motorvehicle again without a lottery win.

As a foot note, Insurance companies check things like pistonheads, so be careful what you post up here.

Perhaps you'd have been better recieved on here had you have not lied in your initial post

Anyway, whatever happens, I wish you good luck and you never know, the police may knock on your door with your bike back and everyone's happy

Thanks for the entertainment smile
Your post totally contradicts itself.

If insurance companies checks forums then it would be silly of me to say the whole truth wouldnt it?

I simply asked for advice and the best i got was abuse.

Lesson learnt again.

Thanks anyways.
You should never have lied to them in the first place
Coming on here telling more lies makes you a class A bellend and part of the reason the rest of us have to pay extortionate insurance rates
You deserve nothing but abuse on here

Hahaha WOW!!

You people are fking shocking, 5 pages of just utter bhing!

Just a quick update before I leave you trolls, I rang up my insurance and explained about the ban and low and behold I DID declare the ban and everything is fine.

It's nice to know there are people like you lot who are willing to give normal and friendly advice/help!

Have a nice life sat at your PC's badgering those in need of advice.

My guess is 90% of you lot are either single or benders!

Goodbye for now smile

You might want to see a doctor about your poor memory, it could be a symptom of a larger issue.

But on the other hand, if you really did declare the ban and forgot that too, I would still have the dementia tests... if you remember to... wink

So, first you "forgot" to declare a 6 month ban when you took your insurance out. Then after your bike getting stolen within a week of buying it, the insurance ring to check that you have definitely have had no convictions, and again you magically "forget" your 6 month ban and assure than you are clean. Then you suddenly remember the ban and post on a forum asking if this is going to be a problem, and then despite all evidence to the contrary your insurance allegedly tells you that you actually did declare the ban.

There's not enough room to fit all the itchy chin smileys this story deserves, but suffice to say that you are either not telling the truth or you have a serious case of early onset Alzheimers.

Within a week of buying it? Are you high?

I bought the bike in May and insured it then. If you can't read then your input is worthless.

I did declare the ban, I just forgot to mention it to the guy I spoke to when I originally reported my bike had been taken and because of that I assumed I didn't declare the ban when originally taking out the policy.

This was the very first time I had took out a policy so yeah sh!t happens.

Now for the love of god people let it go. Your d!cks can't get any harder!
