Had to leave early but great so see things close up, I certainly did a double take on the Jag with what looked like a rocket launcher out the back!

Also, admittedly to some fine advice, I am fastest on the simulator right now.
If you need another driver, I'll be available. hehe

Thanks for a great event.

Mr Andy 'Cojones' Green signing my kids' models today. Great to meet him and Richard Noble and get up close to Bloodhound. Everyone I saw and spoke to was a credit to the project.

Why didn't we hear about this? hehe

Man buys tank and has to move house

A bit specious to suggest he's moving house becaus of the 'tank' as I doubt he suddenly had the cash to hand!

That's basically what happened.

I was in the office when Witham Specilaist Vehicles called.

"whoops" he said. "I appear to have accidentally bought a tank". Naturally we thought he was joking, but no, in a Red wine fueled frenzy, he had bought a tank, and forgotten about it!!!!

Sadly, at the moment, things like that are less frequent as currently there's little requirement for design work, I'm still Lead Engineer, but on site less often as it's (pointless me being there if there's little for me to do). I'm spending some time working at Williams Advanced Engineering working on some another cool project that I'm not allowed to talk about.

Also about to start work on the propulsion system for an electric air speed record aircraft for http://www.electro-flight.co.uk/

I was hoping that INSIGHT was going to take that opportunity to invite me along. What with my "fin angle" engineering expertise and stuff. frown

I agree, an opportunity missed for someone with your engineering background and of course we would have all benefited from your photography skills as well.

Indeed. I am renowned in certain circles as a polygamist polymath.
