I'm assuming you are on the inside of the project too?
Not really.....not so much, just experienced 4th hand hearings of a little bit of what might be going on in the inside......No way to personally verify,......but if true...…...its going to be good. It just looks like it may move forward quickly.....that's all I have heard. We will see.....
I see. Was just curious as this is the only PH thread you have ever commented on & you appeared to have inside knowledge.
God forbid someone else knows something you don't! laugh
That's not the case at all.
Ignore him, I didn't read that into your post at all.

I see it's all go since the project was "saved" in December - or not...

No updates on the website since the announcement, no diary updates from Andy Green since August and no social media posts since December...

Basically the project's still dead in the water. The only difference is that the incomplete car is now mothballed by a different owner!

Did they not state they were doing to do a project review before making their announcement on future plans in early 2019? Still only the 16th of January...

Sadly, Some folks are in a hurry to celebrate and point fingers at failure

Is it public knowledge how much was paid to rescue it?

SWMBO worked for the events team, if you'd been to an event in Avonmouth at the build facility it would have been organised by her.

She'd heard nothing since September other than to say "don't organise any events for now". Today she gets a call from the events "director" asking "can we have your laptop back". Guess she no longer works for them then, what a st way to run a company. The whole non engineering side need sacking off & take people on who can do the job.

Sorry to hear that. You'd have hoped they'd have a bit more decency than that, but i guess the flip side is that her director maybe in the same boat as soon as he's go the laptop back. If they behave like that though i can't see many people being willing to go back which will be somewhat of a set back....

Indeed, no matter what's written down there will be something of the design intent and knowledge missing.

I have it on good authority that the car & equipment is moving in March to a new workshop, just up the coast from where it is at the moment.

News at least, good on not, who knows. "Workshop" as opposed to "storage unit" sounds promising though!
How about personnel, or is it too early to say?
