Wonder how all the members of public who donated money to have their name on the tail-fin will feel...

Reports state the EJ2000, plus rocket, will be used. No point in lugging about a heavy and expensive engine for some press shots.

It says they will be included in the design, so they should feel fine!

From their site:

The Bloodhound LSR project will honour the commitment to put all the names on the tail fin that were paid for prior to the Administration period: this will be incorporated within the new design scheme.

Does anyone know why the old guard couldn't have continued using a CVA rather than administration to deal with historical issues?

If I were them I wouldn't go anywhere near you. Your behavior on here after you were removed from the project was very distasteful and disrespectful of those who remained with the project until the very end. Real sour grapes stuff. Your gloating and best attempts to derail the project undid all the good work and credit you earned while you worked on the project and from posting on here.

A leopard never changes their spots so if the project were to take you back then it could end up with a similar fallout in the future.

Removed, that's laughable.

I can prove I resigned due to they way it was run & the way my attempts to communicate my concerns were treated with disregard. I have the communications stating as much.

Great news that it is back.

The paint job is interesting, I have a had a problem with the last one, but somehow the new one, along with the new logo, somehow looks more professional.

That’s your version of events, it’s very easy to submit a resignation when you know your days are numbered.

Are you disputing my point that your behaviour on here after you “left” is not something to be proud of? To such an extent that you were banned from going near their display stands at events.

It's the only version of events.

I'm not going to waste my time getting into a cock swinging competition with you, I am happy with my decision. I shared MY experience with the PH collective, both good and bad. You have added nothing

Much, much better colour scheme. I personally thought the orange and blue thing was so bland and weak.

I don’t know about this signature thing where people have bought a slice to put their name on it, but in the interests of good PR you’d expect them to honour that previous relationship. It doesn’t cost much and Warhurst has picked up something that the man on the street will have put a few quid into to get it to the point it is in.

I wonder how Noble feels. He looks to be remaining on the outside, and still claiming as a creditor (?), whilst Green stays on board. Happy to be corrected/updated.

Presuming the 'signature' bit you're referring to is the names on the tail fin? If so, as above and in the article they have confirmed they are honouring all of them.

Regarding Noble, in the interview with Ian Waltham (in a recording on the BBC article), he states that getting in touch with Noble was one of the first things he did. No information beyond that, but it would imply to me there is still a reasonable connection there.

That’s great - good that’s being honoured.

Re Noble: I dimly recall Noble claiming to be an creditor (unsecured) to the tune of 750k in the administrators report. I wonder if Warhurst thought that was something he’d happily cover off now Bloodhound is his for a song.

This is great news.....and is what I was expecting to hear via a somewhat short grapevine.

The project moves on, with Ian being a failsafe on funding. With no more money issues, things will be moving much more steadily over the coming months or year.

As for people like acer bashing In51ght...…..please stop.... there are no grounds for it and frankly its childish.

Do we know this, or does the project depend upon renewed sponsorship to achieve it's goals?

(i can't see how it is any more 'sponsor firendly' now that when it had the original project team?)

The project was looking to have fallen short on the rocket motor and rocket fuel pumping system (not sure what the latest fuel pump plan actually is?), and although the jet engine clearly works, running it in the field and at much higher speeds will of course be a significantly more taxing task.

TG put many of the pertinent questions to Ian Warhurst at the launch briefing. Well worth a reading: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/meet-man-who-save...
