I really like the 9. I'm not sure why?

I wasn't too sure about the 9, but the 7 looked really good in the metal. I had clocked it as an Elise style chassis, seeing the £155k price was a bit of a shock.

The tractor they had on their stand looked pretty cool too.

Please, check your facts before all the '!!!'. Kode 7 was deigned back in 2005, and was launched in 2006.

As the article mentioned Kode 9 is based on Elise's chassis which is the same as Evora's. So, same 'glass' is what expected.
Haha - good to see that you've 'checked your facts' before correcting him!

Have you ever seen an Elise or Evora?!

I like both. The Kode 7 seems more like a Japanese Ariel Atom than a Lotus/Caterham 7. Given its price, I suppose its only natural competitor would have to be the Donkervoort D8.

Personally, I think the Kode 9 is refreshing. It's not "perfect" but, although bits of the design are nothing new (like the retro oval headlights and classic grille), overall, it doesn't look like anything else out there.

My friends know me as the "automotive anorak" who can't get enough of interesting, unusual, or just downright wacky cars. as such, if I were in the position to make the choice, I'd take a Donkervoort over a 458 or Gallardo any day! Does that make me a bit un-hinged? Probably, but where I live, Ferraris/Astons/Maseratis/Lamborghinis are a daily sight and actually get to be rather boring.
