Classic estate cars.
Discussion
Estate cars. Practical worthy and sensible.
Very few rise to the level of exciting and fun, they don't really have to be. A few are devastatingly fast and effective but how many estate cars are, or might become, classics?
Arguably, a handful of Audis make the cut. Any AMGs? BMWs? Maybe the E30 Tourings. Any American iron or Japanese techno wagons?
These don't have to be performance versions, just cars that take estate-ism to its pinnacle.
I can't think of many, so please give your nominations for current or future classic estates.

Estate? The nicest derivative of any car...
Every BMW estate better looking than the saloon
Ditto Mercedes
Ditto Audi

M5 E61 Touring

I appreciate the non-performance aspect too. I used to have a Pug 305 estate, which was the zenith of does-what-it-needs-to-do farm car estatey-ness.
What about a Mitsubishi Galant vr4, but only because I have one
2.5 TT V6 with some evo 6 goodies thrown in for good measure. Not many estates from their day could match them. Rare with only 50 or so being officially brought to these shores. Surely all of this should put it in the running too.

There are loads of classic estates:
Ford Zodiac Farnham
Ford Granada Mk1 and 2
Reliant Scimitar
Rover P6 (very limited run)
Ford Escort
Vauxhall Victor
Hillman Minx/Husky
Volvo 145 onwards
Mazda 929
Nissan 300C Estate
Morris Traveller
That's nowhere near an exhaustive list - just as many as I could be bothered to type out. And I haven't even started on American stuff - that would run into the hundreds, even thousands.
