Would that be a blue S6 Plus? 300bhp instead of the 227 of the turbo-charged 5 in line car.

It's not a Plus so is in a very light gold colour, he has added some "plus parts" to it but nothing over the top. It's a V8 Auto originally from Germany, I think it's done about 115Km, the interior and mechanics are sound but the body will need further work, sound great though.

A mate of mine swears by the older Legacy estates - he had a couple of the older 1600 GL types before that.

That's the colour of my old 305 GR. Loved it.

E24Man got there before me with the Alpinas, and they really are masters of the estate car

Other favourites of mine though are the AMG C43 and the B5 RS4

Did VW ever put the G60 or VR6 engines in the B3 Passat estate, or with Syncro 4WD? Always thought they were quite a nice looking car

I have a triumph 2500S estate. Just had it painted and looking forward to putting a few miles on it this summer. Goes well, full length sunroof and overdrive on 3rd and 4th.

What about a Mitsubishi Galant vr4, but only because I have one getmecoat

2.5 TT V6 with some evo 6 goodies thrown in for good measure. Not many estates from their day could match them. Rare with only 50 or so being officially brought to these shores. Surely all of this should put it in the running too.
I agree.......

Please define 'classic'. There seems to be an inordinate amount of modern cars on this thread, Stagea, Galant, Audi RS2, Alfa 156? Are they really classics? Lynx Eventer, Allegro, W123 Merc’s, various Woodies yes.
