Apologies to the Pea Roast Police just in case, I did check...

However...

Really? Seems a bit far fetched to me...

Wouldn't surprise me. Even bicycles get vandalised (and stripped).

Believe it entirely, seen many similar thefts.

Audi RS parts are high target for thieves so one that is seemingly abandoned on a dark flooded road would be an easy target.

Who leaves it for weeks without returning to it? Unless it was stolen and owner didn't know about it? Hence not reporting it? Or they abandoned it and hoped it would get nicked/trashed so they could claim on the insurance?

Seems odd, surely its been robbed off someones drive without the owner realising? Owner could be away on business or something for a few week, completely unaware his cars been stolen?

Should be easy enough to find the perps, just scour ebay/gumtree & the like for an RS5 interior smelling of flood water smile

Funny that even nearly 30 years ago Mini floorpans were like sieves. I was expecting them to pull the roof off due to the weight of the water inside!

This is about 2 minutes from me. On Sunday night it was left in the middle of the road totally stripped bare. I very nearly smashed into it.

Think your just seeing the bits they don't bother spraying properly ie the bits you don't see
It might have a big price tag but under the fancy trinkets there all roughly finished even at 80k

It just looks green in the stripped pics and grey in the flood and I very much doubt there is anything left on that to id it as the original car.

it does look like that's a different colour, maybe they took the whole car and left a shell with no id from a scrapper?
