Epic sales pitch on this DTM replica

All epic pieces of cr5p.
Ref the focus, guy says he thinks the woofer in the boot needs tidying and looks a bit tacky. He forgets to mention the rest of the car.

The 350z is truly horrific as is the 335D with the rusty wood screws holding on the home made arches.
As for the Vodafone merc, true council chav car..

All grim, but the BMW’s the worst. The body kit is a horror - perfect fit where it touches wink

And what’s with the painted struts behind the grille? I’ve noticed it on a few cars. Must be a stance thing smile

They're part of the front crash structure I think, my M140i has them too.
Not sure why you'd make a feature of them by painting them green, but nowt as queer as folk.

Yeah, it was the painting that I was wondering about. Weird why you would want to draw attention to them smile

In fairness to the builder, he’s had a good go. But given the modern Batmobiles are large and imposing, why on earth did he use an MGF? Makes no sense. It’s like casting Macaulay Culkin as The Incredible Hulk, with about the same effect.

He didn't us an MGF - he butchered a Metro GTi to do, using the Banham Bat body conversion, then add in what looks like horrifically bad workmanship. The engine/brakes are from an MGF, apparently.

Never understand why someone would put something up for sale for unrealistic money, like it's really valuable, but chooses ditchfinders (Barum).

I had Barum tyres on a Skoda 1.8T estate and trust me, they were far from ditchfinders.

They were really good tyres, especially compared to the Event tyres I once had on the front of a Golf GTi...

Sometimes I feel bad cos I've wasted my time & money on something. But it’s normally a few model cars or something, so couple of hundred quid. It’s nice to see someone else has wasted countless more man-hours and money than me on a piece of rubbish.

Right. A Skoda Estate is by no means doing the same job a kit car is supposed to do.

I had them on a 4.2 Q7 for a while and they performed great and had zero issue with the power or weight of the vehicle

My point was, that for a car not renowned for it's handling, the Barum tyres performed as well as the branded tyres they replaced.

I'm not comparing cars, just tyres.

Barum tyres are made by Continental, its their "budget" brand so uses slightly older technology than the premium Contis

Anyone with half a brain wouldn't touch that with the world's longest barge pole. What a pig of a car.
