Can't be too many outside of fancy paint.
Whatever you want that MSO can provide for a price you can stomach.

The most interesting (and expensive) option I've heard a rumour of is for a single RHD P1 (to singapore)

No idea if that's actually happening or not. Isn't the MSO line to never say "no", just how much?

£500 million? Does this mean they made an overall loss on the project?
Part of what you could consider as development costs for the P1 are shared with McLaren Automotive's other production and racing cars, so the P1 doesn't need to pay for all of that and the car is indeed producing a profit on their balance sheet. They said this in Geneva last week.

From what I have heard, mainly to do with paint or more exposed carbon fibre and adding a rollcage+harnesses. The fancy ceramic brakes, upgraded iris nav thing and even the front lift comes as standard.

That was my point.

With the advanced aero and hybrid system, I very much doubt MSO would tinker with the bodywork or the drivetrain.

Exposed full body CF would be the big one I suppose.

Other than that I can't see much scope for spending another £100-150k on one.

Bet you could spend a fortune on the interior...

Sir would like diamond tipped dial needles and whale foreskin seat leather? No problem, that'll be 300k...

I'm not up to date with whale foreskin prices. Is that the going rate? wink

My personal collection cost far less than that, but that was before whale foreskin become en vogue...

I love Chris's enthusiasm.. It's a new thing, a whole new thing. Apparently.

Of the latest Super/Hyper cars of the moment.. P1 for me, followed by LaF (need to see & hear more of that though), 918 bringing up the rear. smile

So you have a lot of experience of mammal foreskins of a large nature...

I'm surprised they didn't just make LHD/RHD, or central driving position.

A no compromise road car, except you'll have to sit on the wrong side of the car in a compromised position on roads in all RHD countries hehe

Anyone know if the 918 or LaFerrari are available in RHD?

Having had a quick check, it appears that the LaFerrari is LHD only, and so is the 918.

Happy to hear otherwise from someone with better knowledge though.

Neither are trading on "British excellence" though are they. A company that loves Britain so much they won't entertain a limited run of RHD laugh

Foreigners don't have to make cars for plucky Brits (who apparently can't deal with LHD in the UK. btw it's not THAT hard to live with) or the Japs (who love LHD so it matters not)

If its anything like SLR, the reworking costs were MASSIVE for what was going to be a tiny proportion of sales. Not worth it.

Or you cold ask WHY the P1 is LHD only wink
