RE: Koenigsegg Agera One:1 - (some) details
Discussion
I never thought i'd go 'Meh' at a car with 1300+hp but i just have!
Totally underwhelmed.....more of the same from K'egg when everyone else in the automotive stratosphere is going mental with the tech and innovation. I suppose there is only so much a small company like K'egg can do with the resources at their disposal, but the fact that they are a small company isn't my concern (if i were in any way in a position to buy one, which i'm not)

Will watch that when I get home.
Looked it up on wiki and breaking times for the regular Agera are rather interesting, I'd love to experience that.. the feeling of your internal organs carrying on as everything else slows down
Un-official 250mph on the 'ring straight too.
But dynamics remain an unknown, they say the 918 time is in part down to AWD and there could be some truth to that, but the Agera is, an unknown, not to say it's not good, it might be and I hope it is, I'd love to see a RWD car beat the lardy roidbryd, alternatively we could make Suzuka times the new standard?

Mind you though it will potentially hold 0-200 kmh, 0-300 kmh, 0-400 kmh, 0-200-0 kmh, 0-300-0 kmh, 0-400-0 kmh (and all derivatives), the top speed record (in theory at least) and possibly a ton of lap times...[snip]
He mentions the turbos here 12:25 in.

Looks archaic compared to the P1.
This.I so wanted an 'egg until I saw the P1.
Of course, I'm never going to own either.
Not that it matters too much as these are all sold! Although I fear days for mental contraptions like the Agera are numbered if they cannot compete on the technology stakes (not just attributed to hybrid drive-trains I might add) with the larger manufacturers.
No it doesn't. It is removable with some effort though.
"This is also Koenigsegg's first ever car with a fixed roof. Well, what I mean is that it's bolted in and has a scoop over it, but it can be removed with a little work."
This and more info, and excellent pictures from GF Williams here:

Got to agree with this I'm afraid. This is an evolution of an existing approach, where as the new 'Big Three' with their hybrid technology just seem a generation ahead in so many ways..

On the contrary, it seems like the only 'technology' you consider advanced are hybrid. There is some real tech in this, copy pasta:Not that it matters too much as these are all sold! "20 per cent reduction in the weight of the carbon fibre chassis, 3D printed components including the 'variable turbo housing' and titanium exhaust endpiece, GPS controlled predictive active chassis working with active variable ride height, damping and spring rates, 2G cornering on street legal tyres and active aero"
Apologies for the stupid question but is this called and spoken as a one one or is it just simply one?
with those pics above ^^ the wheels are not nice at all they look like Audi A3 wheels which have been wrapped in carbon effect vinyl.
ETA: i think the thing looks amazing.....Dear Santa.

I'd assumed it was one to one. As in, one hp to one kg.with those pics above ^^ the wheels are not nice at all they look like Audi A3 wheels which have been wrapped in carbon effect vinyl.
