What kind of car transporter would you have preferred? An abnormal one? confused
It isn't the normal way to transport a £100k+ rare supercar. You'll rarely if ever see a ferrari on an open car transporter being delivered to a dealer or customer.

Pretty sure I saw that transporter with that very i8 in Guildford going towards Slyfield where Vines BMW are located, on Thursday, it was the only car on there by then.

But it isn't a supercar. And was the name calling called for? Nope.

Indeed. how does the OP think a 911 gets to the dealer? How about a R8?

And moreover, why does it matter?

Indeed, it's a 3 cylinder hybrid.

The i8s were knocking about London today. I had a poke around one, it's an incredibly good looking car. I don't understand the animosity towards it.

And just to drag this back on topic. Here are two of the most super cars I saw in London today.

Ours rocked up on Thursday, I was surprised they weren't on a single covered transporter

Cost will be a factor as to why BMW don't deliver every i8 to every dealer on a single, covered transporter. It could also increase delivery times by a small amount too.

Like someone else has already pointed out, Porsche and Audi with the R8 deliver their cars on conventional transporters.

Could be a kitcar, some of them are quite difficult to tell from a real one, especially

from that angle.

The RS200 is a replica but it still looks and sounds fantastic so I thought I'd post it up anyway as you don't exactly see many replicas either!

I wasn't complaining.

I'd build one myself cheaply if I had the time, to replace a pants Cosworth.
