Hi there,

Not really in keeping with the thread as I knew it was going to there in advance.

McLaren P1 at Donington today: -

Great car, terrible numberplate!!
yes

A quick way to ruin an incredible car.
He'll be crying into his £28m bank balance when he reads people don't like his number plate on his £900k car

Is it not just a 'show' plate for while he's on track? Saying that, the registered plate is also mis-spaced.

Spotted this Brabus 'C35' earlier, just a tuned C350 with the 0 taken off?

Looks like the Koenig spoiler, imo.

Ah yes, off their twin turbo (~820 bhp in low boost?) project. Good memory.

Suppose I could take that as compliment! Just Googled him - I've been called worse!

Looks like a completely standard, utterly rubbish diesel with a random Brabus sticker on the back.

There's an even worse Merc abomination that parks near my office. Clearly a diesel SL but he has added red brembo front calipers and the entire SL 65 black series bodykit. It looks really shoddy and must be hilariously slow off the lights. Four enormous tailpipes and they must sound hopeless and just pour out black smoke.

Why bother???!!

That will likely have the Brabus D3 Chip installed, the rear badge and wing badges come with the kit. adds around 40hp & 50nm

There has never been a Diesel SL, the basic SL350 (around 300bhp)still packs a punch above most cars on the road, I wouldnt call it hilariously slow!?! unless your thinking of another model.

Fair play on both counts. I meant SL 350 but got carried away after the previous diesel related comment. For reference, 350 SL couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. Makes a 3 ton range rover sport seem fast. Chuck a crap bodykit on it and you still don't need better brakes. But it makes it slightly more embarrasing that he's even bothered.

The Brabus badge is given away with any chip upgrade?

May as well put the challenge stradale badge on a budget 360 Modena with a semi interesting exhaust!!

Ferrari 550 Maranello, one of the better-looking modern Ferraris imo
Indeed. Time has been kind to that (and the 575) Can still see the family resemblance to Daytona

In Holland Park today, rust bubbles on the arches, dents, plus a passenger seat covered in DIY equipment.

Owner probably richer than God

I really don't know why, but I do find Bristols very endearing.
