But this very car was behind my when I drove out of the Waitrose (yeah, yeah, PH cliché, I know!) car park in Frimley this afternoon. A proper "Blimey - WTF is that?" moment while it was directly behind me, but the "A610Turbo" written on the rear side window pretty much gave the game away as it pulled alongside at the next roundabout. First one I've seen "in the wild" and it looked absolutely bloody gorgeous! Registered new in December 1992 - Can it really be getting on for 25 years old???

...but this pulled out of a car park between Box Hill Village and Headley on Sunday, after the RideLondon cycling event was finished. First time I've seen one of these on the loose too. 1979 Lancia Gamma Coupe. I was cycling along, trying to follow the roads which had been closed for the event,so this was pretty much the only view I got of it, but it too looked lovely in the sunshine.

I assume I'm alone in thinking that looks hilariously bad ?
Probably not alone but personally disagree. Not normally into the whole 'race car' look thing but having seen one in the flesh at Goodwood last year I do think this is my one exception. But all cars are personal taste to be fair some hare and some loveDB11 at the Clasic Car Meet in Earls Barton yesterday.
A few more interesting cars, such a showroom condition Mk1 Esprit, that looked like it had just been delivered to 007 for his latest mission.

Very nice, always liked these and the model before. It lead me to look at what they're going for, and one advert suggested that there were only 40something sent to England/RHD, and that only 22 remain! This and the model before must be due a huge jump in price in the next 10 years or so, you can get one for £9-10K, and it's Alpine predecessor for £5-7K! ...is NOT my picture.
