Can't be many of these around

Good spot - certainly not many around. Also a strange choice for that money, hence the rarity probably!

No,it's not a kit car.

A Buckingham limousine.

Seen today at Historics auction.

Auctioneer said that bloke who built it had bought a Rolls Royce but decided he could do better,so spent £250,000 making this.

Failed to sell today at £21,000 max bid.

Modelled as a Bugatti Royale homage.

I THINK it's a 675LT MSO. (not 100% on the MSO bit)

McLaren 675 LT MSO by Jim Pritchard, on Flickr
number 499 of 500!
Confirmed as an LTO then?
Do you mean MSO? It has MSO parts, but pretty much most of them do anyway.
Sorry, yes I did mean MSO.
Its a 675LT Coupe that has some MSO additions (roof scoop and wing vents)
The additions look a little "halfords".

Jesus. What a waste of £250,000

I never met Dick Lovett but I stood next to Frank Sytner in the khazi at the BRDC at Silverstone once.

He was little and fiery. I could tell he was a bit fierce even though he was just standing there having a pee.
trying to fathom this one... did he have a strong piss stream, or did he growl at you and tell you to fk off from the urinal next door to him??
You're saying some of my jokes don't bear close analysis? This could well be true. All I know is he had an air of 'you can all fk off' about him.

Superb and I think original grey DB4 GT Zagato behind Earls Court tonight.
Sorry no pics!

Parked my V8V behind it and was quite proud to see the air for family resemblance!

Some lovely cars at the Tewin Car Show yesterday. Can someone let me know which Ferrari model is in the foreground?

Two other highlights were a Jag D type (bodged together from factory bits) and a really good nick Lotus Carlton.

Many thanks, my 2.5 y/o was making a beeline for that and the 275. My cold sweats were thoroughly justified then.

My 3 year old does much the same.

For future, if you have a reg plate and make, just use the government online MOT checker and it will tell you model and history.
