You also have a relatively low inertia and laterally very "stiff" car, so as you bleed off the excessive drive torque that was keeping the rear tyre slip in balance with the steering angle, you have to be accurate with your handwheel inputs. Only 10-15 degrees of handwheel out and you have a 1g rapid excursion of the front end to deal with.........
