RE: Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4: Review
Discussion
Well, at least we don't need worry about "game changer" being used again..!
The Gallardo looks dated, but still cool in the last guises with the big wings and shouty exhausts (i.e. what a Lambo is all about). I struggle with the idea of buying Huracan when the 458 looks to do everything better; you've got to love Lambos to look over the Ferrari, surely...
Have to say though, Mr Trent's video doesn't give me the reassurance that he could take the car to the limit, and therefore judge it comprehensively. As such, i immediately went Googling to find - in my eyes - a'proper' review.

Any luck?
Seriously though, you're right up to a point about being able to take the car to the limit because the set-up of the track time on the launch was lead-follow behind the Aventador pace car (yes, Aventador pace car! ) in groups of up to four cars at a time and obviously his job was to a) make sure we didn't do anything stupid and b) keep everyone together in a pack. We were under orders not to switch the ESC off too. To be fair the pace was reasonable but you had to bear in mind the Aventador might suddenly lift off so you had to leave a margin for coming round a corner to find him suddenly backing everyone up into a braking zone.
And, as discussed in the piece, the P Zeros were struggling in the heat and on the harsh tarmac at Ascari and really tailing off after three laps, especially at the front. An interesting comparison with the Corsas fitted to the 650S we were driving there just weeks before, which seemed impressively resilient and maintained turn-in bite even after three or four laps. Which tallies with what the Lambo test driver was telling us about his testing with Corsas on the Huracan.
Anyway, enough excuses. I'll prefer to call it 'context' for your further deliberations!
Cheers,
Dan
