Seems if you own an Alfa Spider, you can park how you wish. Then they multiply.

Saw a Porsche Cayenne owned by a 'triple ripple' skinhead using the "pickup point" as his own personal parking space at Sainsbury in Chester yesterday. Couldn't even be bothered to park it up properly and left the arse end hanging out into the access road (pic to follow).
I double parked alongside a car in the pick up point with the driver in. (Misses waiting there with shopping trolly), I said "You do know this is the pick up point"

He said "Yes I know, I am picking someone up", he was still waiting when I left.

smile
This guy wasn't even in his car - he was walking out of the store with a trolley full of shopping when I first spotted him.

You know when your "pretentious arse" radar goes off and you know just which car they will be heading for......and sure enough.

What is a triple ripple skinhead? I looked on google but the results weren't family friendly.
It's a reference to a Russell Kane standup gig he did on live at the Apollo:

Spotted in the street in Brighton.

Can only assume there's some back story. No cars either side of pic for a reasonable distance.
Now that is some skill squeezing the civic in there! bow

What's security like on an old 500? is it valuable considering you just restored it? or is it not normally parked on street?

Pretty busy in Aldi car park. Doofus in Golf decides to to drive up the kerb with a large scraping noise, pedestrians moved out of his way, and park up whilst his obese and entitled family went shopping.

Parked in the middle of a cycle lane, completely blocking the path of oncoming bikes! eekmad

...........

Ok fair enough, maybe this was in "Madurodam" (a miniature version of Holland, showing all Famous Dutch landmarks and buildings) and the car might have been moved there after somebody found out they weren't actually stuck to the roads... redface

Apparently the driver was smoking a joint, noticed a Police car further up, panicked and ditched the car literally at about 60mph (in a forty zone). rolleyes

I have no idea if that's true (the owner of the house opposite told me) but the distance from the road to the final resting point would suggest it was the case.
