Can't someone relevant give the driver a ticket or something?
Private property so only a civil case. Owner would need to be displaying a sign clearly stating "don't be a mong and park 6 feet outside the marked space" before they could issue a penalty notice.....I would support the issuance of a fine for sporting 20 section tyres on a 4x4 tho'

Wonder if its because the space is so narrow they couldnt get in and open the doors. Not saying its right and I wouldnt have done it, but some multi story space sizes are stupidly small.PulsatingStar said:

only if you try and park a massive 4x4 in the space, you think we should rebuild all MS Car Parks/repaint all lines just to accommodate these things ? fk thatI think we've come full circle from, it's OK I've put my hazards on.
A number of times I've seen cars parked perfectly legally but with the hazards on, does this mean they don't actually know where they're allowed to park?
Regularly see cars in the pick up / drop off for St Pancras with hazards on, but not needed. However, in a line of cars you only see the right indicator so it looks like they're waiting to pull out.

I think they're just being incredibly unlucky breaking down on double yellow lines. Next time you see them, donate a bit of money to helping them fix their car.A number of times I've seen cars parked perfectly legally but with the hazards on, does this mean they don't actually know where they're allowed to park?

Say you find a space, it's often just not big enough for a family car (eg "S"UV) so you have to drive around more until you find one.
Here's a classic example: https://goo.gl/maps/K1GQeMjrygw
There are no individually-marked spaces so you rely on others to park nicely. This space could fit a Smart Car or Fiat 500. Got anything bigger? You'll have to keep on driving.

Can't remember posting this prize fknugget before...
In Aberdeen's Union Square multi storey, plenty of spaces elsewhere in the car park (including upper levels) but this felt too special to try there. So thought dumping it on the pedestrian walk way was a perfectly good spot. What an utterly self-absorbed little tit. Same with the spacktard behind them.

Edit of unacceptable word.

Interesting how that Smart car is parked. Always wondered if you could get away with parking it like that.csd19 said:

I suspect both parties are just utterly thick and thought it was a genuine parking space.

That Smart car (and many others like it) was protruding only about 4 inches out onto the main roads beyond the normally parked cars. Hoofy said:

What pisses me off is cars who park about 5 ft from the end of the bay. If you scroll along the link to the right you will see what I mean. And those who leave about 4 ft behind the other car when they park. Here's a classic example: https://goo.gl/maps/K1GQeMjrygw

Sometimes I'll arrive at a space vacated by a large SUV and park in it in Mrs V.'s tiny Mitsubishi. It now looks like I've parked stupidly. Do I park close to the car in front and leave a comedy space behind or vice versa?Negative Creep said:
