Two corkers from our local hospital. Check out the one pulling in behind the Audi in the second picture.

Almost unbelievable how some people are so selfish not to mention idiots. Beggers belief.

If it's like our hospital it will be packed solid. They should stagger visiting hours so different wards have different times.
Agree 100% there - how they haven't implemented staggered visiting nationwide is bizarre. I went to visit a relative a few weeks ago and the scrum in the car park and queue for tickets was incredible.
Protected meal times, dignity of getting patients out of / into bed and bathed etc, doctors rounds, providing treatment etc. Issue is government / council policy on car parking (our local hospital is being charged something in the region of £5000 per parking space by the council for planning for their "green schemes..." so they've had to half the number of new spaces). Let alone it's not a surprise parking is short, if you can, make other plans...

Traffic wardens threatened by school run parents... class! frown

As much as wardens are unlikely to be applauded on PH, this is exactly the sort of thing every warden in every town or city in the UK should be doing. Parking around schools is a massive issue and one of my pet hates when driving around towns and cities - parents turn into absolute animals if you challenge them as well so it's no surprise the wardens want police protection.
I never quite understood the negativity towards traffic wardens. I'd rather see more of them than less. It pisses me off every day when people just dump their cars where it suits them. I live on a road with a school at the bottom and every day its ridiculous, mostly when people park 90% of their cars in the kerb, blocking pavements. A monthly 'visit' would help so much. Perhaps I'll get a job as one!

Agree, so long as they follow council guidelines and are reasonable they're no harm. Don't park illegally and you should have no problems.

Spot on, I bet those who do would be the first to moan if they got home and someone was blocking their driveway.
AMG, I dont agree with a monthly visit at all, make it DAILY, they may get the message biggrin

More interesting than bad parking, a bloke obviously delivering packages, sort of local courier, bowls up and abandons the car to deliver to the house in front of him.

Strange I thought as our road is almost deserted during the day, no cars parked on the road, but he just stops over the path as you can see.

He was only there for about four minutes.

'Delivering packages' in a new A-Class? I reckon I can guess what those packages are likely to contain!

Somehow I don't think this guy would like to be admitting to running any 'business'

Yeah no chance. He'll have that on pcp ragging it into the ground. Probably cheaper than running a van!

Lady driver that rocked up and abandoned their Juke on the, now pretty much non existent due to other retarded parkers, grass verge complete with sinkhole puddles. Queue jokes about it being the closest to off road it will ever be, etc:
Several jokes lined up, one behind the other?

In fairness to him, where the hell else can you park that?

Plus all he needs is some numbnuts to park in front and behind and he'll have to get Austin Powers to help.

Could have parked vertically across 2 spaces rather than horizontally covering 4-5 spaces... although either way if there were people parked next to him it would be difficult to get out!

Two perfectly healthy and mobile lads sat in their BMW having been to Maccy D's
No blue badge.

Chap parked in a parent and child bay, hopped out and went into the store. No-one else in the car. Oddly there were empty P&C bays closer to the door.

One of these days I'll chase after a parent and child space abuser, catch them just as they get to the store and - in a real panic - shout.
"Wait, WAIT. OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I SAW YOU PARK IN THE PARENT AND CHILD BAY AND COME INTO THE STORE. YOU MUST HAVE LEFT THE POOR CHILD IN THE CAR!!!! "

I thought that. (1) Not sure it'd fit that way (2) as you say, plus if someone parked opposite. biggrin

It's the same at the hospital I work at too. The council won't allow enough parking spaces for the staff, their dumb reasoning is it'll make staff use public transport.
