Enough space for three cars until someone parks the a Fiesta bang in the middle to block anyone else parking.

Our local village is full of people who'll park like that.

Can't they work out that parking half a car length away from the end of the bay is going to cause massive inconvenience for others who want to park?

I'll always park right up to the end of the bay in those situations.

Mind you, our local village is a clusterfk much of the time for parking - nobody takes any notice of double yellows or bus-stops and when the police had a week long campaign to clamp down on it, they got a whole load of abuse on their facebook page telling them they should be out catching proper criminals.

On a bad day, you can be sitting in traffic for 10-15 minutes because someone has parked in such a way it's too narrow for busses and vans to pass.

Military method. Duct tape across windscreen, write on "DONT PARK HERE".

It's a bugger getting the stuff

I thought this was a little close. Looks like the Merc rolled down the road.

Either that or it's Braille parking, roll forward until a bump is felt.

Didn't Tara Palmer-Tomkinson once say bumpers are for bumping?

Hello!

And some from my drunken wander home last night...

This one has the Audi on a corner, double parked when there are lots of free spaces in the designated parking, on a pavement and on a double yellow.

Mmmm, tasteful. I should imagine a vehicle with that ground clearance must really need that rear diffuser...

I once followed someone into an empty parking space like that, assuming they would drive to the end before they stopped.
Little did I realise that they would stop just over a car's length into the space and leave me neither in nor out!

I would and have squeezed my shed focus next to that, did it last week with a chap who parked his nice private plate xf jag, I had to get out the passenger side and he would have had to do the same to get in the jag. If the Tosser had parked in the lines it wouldnt have been a problem
