Red astra is parked, and helping restrict HGV access to the tip around the corner, also not helped by others waiting for the tip to open at 10am, causing this area to be further gridlocked.

Looks like this Citroen has used the grass verge to parallel park from;

Having trouble working that out, even with another car tagged onto the red one can't see it makes much difference. What am I missing?

They park like this every bloody day.

The corner is blind and tighter than it looks on this pic, and usually turned into a chicane by others parking nearby.

They have 4 cars but live in a house with space for two, so they make it everyone else's problem by parking on the pavement.

With the red astra parked where it is, it reduces the road to a single lane, due to the silver astra that is correctly parked on the opposite side of the road.

The red Astra is also partly blocking the entryway as it is parked beyond the kerbed section

I see that now, so if the silver one wasnt there, there would be no problem. I was looking at the red one in isolation, with the ginormous entry bit in front of it. Presumably where the silver one is parked, there are no parking restrictions?

Yes but you could drive a tank in there no worries, not really blocking the entrance is it?

Heaven forbid that someone might want to reverse an articulated lorry into a loading dock on an industrial estate, eh? Idiots park like idiots park - with little or no consideration for anyone else who might need to go about their business. The amount of linear space along the entry way is neither here nor there if the driver of a large vehicle cannot swing wide enough to get the correct angle to line up on his destination. Roads are meant to allow vehicles to move - if you want to park, use a CAR PARK. (Hint: It's what CAR PARKS are for...)

Opinions differ. Be good to see where that place is.

Parked as far from the door as possible, causing no inconvenience to anyone and needs the room it's taking up, yet I feel compelled to share....

They do indeed differ. My opinion is that the driver of the red Astra is a selfish, self-entitled prick.

I dint have a problem with that.

The long doors on that would make it virtually impossible to get out in a normal space, especially if you weigh more than 7 stone.

Judging by the amount of visits he makes to Nandos I think the 7 stone threshold will be breached very soon.

That's pretty poor. Likely owner is on here.

Ah joy. It would appear that one of the moron offspring of the bad parking neighbour, has just returned home and picked up where daddy left off a couple of weeks ago by dumping his L200 & trailer(s) on the pavementrolleyes

Ah, yes, parking on the pavement. There's plenty of parking nearby. Bizarre.

Handbrake failure / not-left-in-gear runaway, perhaps?
