If sir or madam must park next to the trolley shelter, perhaps sir or madam might like to consider reversing in so that other people don't conclude that sir or madam is a selfish prick.

And how will sir or madam put their weekly shop in the boot if they reverse in towards that hedge?

Seriously? This is not worthy of this thread, that's a badly designed carpark with a trolley bay as an afterthought. Park in the lines and you can't open the doors. Sir/Madam Europa1 might wish to try parking ones car in that spot and opening both doors ones vehicle.
Typical I can't reverse for ste. Given that space I let the boss out first, and reverse in. Sorted.

That would strike me as the common sense solution, which sir/madam zedx19 might like to consider.

Eating takeaway - yep
Sideways across two disabled bays - yep

Innocent bloke walking across shot nothing to do with it

A common sense solution it is indeed, please explain how this common sense solution works with toddlers? My loins are particularly productive and thus far have made a 4 year old, 2 year and 1 year old. Those little ruffians won't stay put for but a moment so requesting they do not vacate the exact spot on road I place them on whilst I park my motorised vehicle would be foolish and entirely lacking in common sense. Perhaps Europa1 might consider the needs of others before dispensing such "common sense solutions".

Back in the real world, it's a badly designed carpark ffs, you'd be daft to park perfectly in that spot resulting in behind unable to open any doors on side of the car. You'll only end up returning to the car later to find some inempt fool had parked so close to the other side that you have to climb in through the boot. It's certainly not a photo worthy of this thread at all, clutching at Bad Parking straws.

The solution with toddlers would be the parent and child parking spaces; I believe that's what they're designed for, and that particular "badly designed car park" has plenty of them.

And well done you on your fecundity.

Still doesn't explain how you would load your shopping into the boot with that hedge in the way

Don't argue, just accept that Europa1 is right. The Nissan should have got everyone out and everything they'd need out the boot, then reversed in. Then pulled the car back into the road, got everyone in, the shopping in the boot and anything else then drove off.

Who cares about the Qashqai? Can't believe someone would bother to take a photo of that and moan about it online.

Similarly, the Audi 'parked' across two disabled spaces has someone in it. Could someone not have ran inside to grab something? If it's not actually inconveniencing anyone from what I can see...

If some of you are like this now, imagine what you'll be like when you're 70!

No Parking cones? What No Parking cones?
Looks suspiciously like residents taking the law into their own hands with car parking management, more than vehicles ignoring the cones.

And before anyone asks, I meet her at the pick up point to load the stuff in the boot, parking as I do protects my near side and rear of the car.

I'm 70 and am like that. You obviously don't get this part of PH. Maybe the Needlework thread would be more suitable.

This thread and the numberplate thread are just full of people that obviously moan for a hobby. I wonder what they are like when a real problem appears in their obviously empty lives!

Yet another disillusioned PH member heading for the needlework thread.

You've obviously no chance of undertaking needlework as you're too busy wagging your finger at everyone who offends your sense of self righteousness and I'm pretty sure that's an awful lot of people.
