If you must drive a BIG car, learn how to park it.

Reversed my Volvo, checked the front, decided it was sticking out so moved. I left a note on their screen about taking two spaces when one would do, and honest it was polite.
He budges up a bit more, you could squeeze a Citigo infront and behind!

Doesn't say what the new parking costs are, but possibly self inflicted?

I used to do that, even had a load of pre-printed, 'you park like a ' flyers in the glove box. But invariably they just ended up as litter, as the types that abandon their cars are also the type to scrunch up and throw away a flyer left under the wiper.
I used to manage facilities for a small company. Visitors to and employees of the large company next door would use our already pretty much at capacity carpark. I used to put flyers on their windscreens that ended up as litter or "blew away" as I was told. To prevent this I started using A3 labels on repeat offenders, so they didn't blow away of course. My MD backed me up when the complaints came in. He was tired of parking his Porsche in the street.

Lovely jobsworth fun it was, especially if a crowd of you watched from the first floor window.

The car on the right and tyre tracks looks like a common occurance, I assume they all park on the pavement there?

When you spotted that car why didnt you automatically choose another space? I guess you wouldnt be able to post this if you had.
Deliberate parking to post the result? I suggest that Vipers has little enough time already without faffing over a space. ( Slow day was it?)
Absolutely wrong. As I drove down the line of cars I spotted an end space, reversed in to it, got out to check I wasn't in THEIR space, (with reversing sensors I know when I am close to the car behind me), then and only then saw how far they was into my space, and how far my front was sticking out too far for comfort.

Where I stood to take photo, there was a car in that space, so actually seeing the white line in front of the car in question wasn't available, as I finished parking, that car drove off.

Nice try though. biggrin

From the local M&S earlier this afternoon.

Took the picture for the plate thread, but thought it might as well go here too. Not the worst offender - just lazy / drive in and dump.

Edit - and this copied over from the Real Good plates thread:

Yes, there is customer parking on the forecourt - but the van is completely blocking the pavement and actually projects out into the road

This made me laugh last night. Ocado delivery man. Both cars were there before he arrived.
I'm sure carrying my shopping an extra 15 feet and parking it properly wouldn't have been that difficult. smile

TBH I don't want to get the guy into trouble. He was here literally minutes and it's a really quiet street so nobody was put out. just baffled me why he didn't turn around (turning circle to the right of the pic out of shot) and park behind the Heep. Took more effort for him to reverse out of there than it was worth.

Thanks, I didn't realise they were separate businesses.

You should've just parked in the bus stop in the background, seems to be a regular "park with impunity" space, no issues there thumbup

Citroen was parked overnight. The SEAT turns up sometime the next morning. Smartphone camera distortion makes the gap look bigger, even small cars were struggling to get through, let alone an ambulance or fire engine.

Parked on the pavement? Check.
Parked partially overhanging somebody's driveway? Check.
Parked virtually opposite another car? Check.
Parked facing oncoming traffic? Check?
All round weapons grade thundertt? Check.
