^I bet you the owner is a member of MX5Nutz. The stuff some of the yoof do on there with MX-5's would make PH cry.. It is no wonder the NA/mk1 is more rarer now.

This is just for 2017. since records began in 2006 it's had 6 failtures and 7 passes. the dust cover was an advisory for 5 years before being a fail.

Where does it say "being too low" even a standard MX5 will have damage to the underside at this age.

Not necessarily, it's a small car so non-structural rust in the sills can be within the prescribed 30cm (as described to me by a MX5 restorer), my MX5 has just got an advisory for sill rust because it's getting close to the prescribed area but isn't structural and it's not that expensive to put right.

Yes the exhausts on the car are stupid but my guess is that it's a joke to wind people up - looks like they've succeeded.

The sill is a structural part of a monocoque, so any rust that's bad enough to cause perforation should be a fail.
