I don't have a pic (did try), but I passed an old silver Passat with a DIY delorean kit on it, the other day.
In Kent.

Hopefully someone else has seen this tragic effort and has a photo.

I particularly like the screens in the rear headrests, presumably so that in traffic jams people in the car behind can also enjoy the entertainment. And to think BMW drivers are stereotyped as selfish...
How else are you meant to keep the soft-top entertained?

So should this be here or the decently modified thread? I'm talking about the look, not whether it's well engineered. Over to you....

like bar the front axle
It's intriguing and imaginative, but I agree the front axle is carp. Crude, when the rest is carefully thought out.
axle itself is fine, it's that transverse spring mounting bracket and the front frame rail
Sorry, that's what I meant. The mount and frame look like they're from a dockside crane smile

eek

No way on earth is that £8500 either.
Its probably worth about £3500

The fact that he's lost the service history means he isn't the most organised chap...

He calls the car his "cat". What?

And he tells the potential buyer to "hit him up"

What a tosser

The least he could have done was vacuum and tidy the interior prior to photo's. Obviously not proud of the car..

People don't seem to have any care nowadays. About 3 years ago I went on a test drive of a Lexus RX. The seller expected me to sit on a McD bag and some used tissues for the test drive.... how dirty can you get?

You may not like it visually, but it's a period modification regarding that front axle, nothing wrong with it.

It's known as a 'suicide' front end.

The colour scheme wasn't the first thing that struck me as being, shall we say, a bit off with that Cayenne.

Advert indicates its currently not MOT'd, and has probably been de-registered by the DVLA for failing to undergo an IVA test under the Radically Altered Vehicle scheme.

Nasty surprise for the new owner, no doubt.
