It has, but queue the 'it's different' / 'the owner is happy' / 'it's a showpiece' groupies.

I saw a video of this thing rolling around in a cul de sac a few months ago, it reminded me of those poor tortoises you see with lame back legs so they have wheels put on them.

The VAG scene is effectively a cess-pit of name-brand splits / dish, air ride and cronyism. Being different would be making something that's actually useable + fast!

or "slate every car that isn't a car direct from the factory" haha

i think this looks awful....

....but i'd not say its badly modified.

"driven through an italian halfords" i think is what i'm supposed to say ha

people have said to me that i drove my car through the brabus factory and that they saw me coming..... even though all brabus parts are OEM

maybe people should do a bit of research first

be different and enjoy it smile

all this thread does is alienate a huge proportion of the community.

I'm all for everyone having individual tastes in most cases but you can take it too far, in my opinion it still has to retain its original use... the only time I've seen this thing driving is off and on its trailer!

I did see it on the previous page but wanted to show it in it's current form, awful looking thing.

Reminds me of a Volvo P1800. Mind you, I love the look of the Volvo.

Yes, it looks quite cool in a 90s concept car kinda way, but something goes really wrong at the the point the door shuts and the back end looks really wrong somehow.

It's not specific to the MINI world, it's become the next stupid meme after overly cambered wheels and stretched tyres..

Having an identity crisis too by the looks of things? Vw from the front, SEAT from the back 🤔

I wonder if he's gone full scene and gone down the new trend of audio installs that's making a comeback?
